The Procedure
- Outpatient procedure performed under local anesthetic
in our AAAHC
accredited surgery center.
- Tiny incisions are made on the inside corners of the
lip, and a synthetic lip implant is inserted.
- Procedure takes about thirty minutes.
The Recovery
- You can resume most work and normal activities a few
days after your procedure.
- Pain is minimal and easily controlled with medication,
and is mostly gone by the second or third day after
your procedure.
- Swelling is mild to moderate, peaking at two days and
then fades rapidly over the next three weeks.
- Minimal to no bruising.
Sutures are removed around six days.
